There are several nuances of the bee kingdom that are worth investigating. Either because of the fascinating nature of them, or because the answers we seek will make us better beekeepers. In my mind, the questions I want to know most about is:
- How can we eradicate bee pests
- How do bees choose their hive locations
- How long do you feed bees in spring
The answers to these can be found in the articles I’ll post.

I saw your video “Building your Top Bar Hive” on youtube.com, and I am very interested in keeping it simple and building my own hive.
You said 45″ for the side, but what size is the front/back plates?
And what angle?
I do not know much about making things with wood, but I’m giving my hive a chance, haha.
So how about what length is the longest length, and what angle is it at? Or what is the top longer length and the bottom shorter length?
